Uninspired

I know a few people will be surprised at my return to this old theme. Truth be told so am I! Right now I just don’t seem to be able to get inspired, I’ve always had ideas for what I would like to do in terms of layout and colours, and it’s normally been a case of setting aside a day or two and making the changes. This time however I just have nothing.

I re-designed the site live for a few days, I even killed off the CSS entirely and started from scratch, some people even liked the results that came from that. But I found while it looked good at the time, when I woke up the next morning I couldn’t stand it.

So this morning instead of a two fold increase in my coffee consumption and a few hours of sketching and mapping of ideas, I’m doing nothing. I’m going back to the last design that didn’t make me want to change and focusing on trying to get some content on here as my writing has suffered during this design stint.
