Mighty Mouse in the Bin...
December 17th, 2006

A picture speaks a thousand words and a while back Dave Shea summed up perfectly my feelings on my (now broken) mighty mouse. With the above image. I’ve got to put up with a non-functional scroll ball until Tuesday when Amazon ship my replacement Logitech mouse. “Bah’ humbug”...

17th December 2006I bought a mighty mouse too with my macbook thinking they would be perfect partners. It's an ok mouse and it is still working but when I go to work I have a logetic and instantly feel more productive!

18th December 2006I know what you mean :)
Initially I really liked the mouse, it felt good to use and everything but then with all the problems with the scroll ball it just didn't seem worth it to keep cleaning it. I could return it still as it's under warranty but the same thing will just happen 6 months down the line so why bother I say!

20th December 2006I actually really enjoy my wireless Mighty Mouse. I would have to say it is one of the best mice I have used. And I've been through a lot as a graphic designer.

23rd December 2006I disagree… its one of the best mice I have bought and hasn't given me any trouble what so ever.
The scroll wheel is perfect, the buttons work great without any issues or symptoms that you are suggesting.
You might have unfortunately received a faulty device…

29th December 2006My mighty mouse turned out to be crap too. The scroll broke and only scrolls upwards. What a pain! I'm in need of something better.

29th December 2006It's quite interesting how varied peoples experiences are. I must admit that for the first 5-6 months I thought the mighty mouse was the best mouse I had used. But after all the scroll problems I just had to let it go.
