Logitech MX400 Arrives!

mx400

In what seemed like the longest 2 days ever I’ve finally recieved my new Logitech MX400 mouse from Amazon. For the price it’s very well made, looks nice (not great but I’ve seen worse) and the laser tracking makes it exceptionally accurate. The fact that scrolling actually works and the side buttons are useable make it an even better buy!

Highly recommended!

But its not apple and doesn't look as good! Surely that is the point of Apple ;)

Ok, maybe your right about the Mighty Mouse, but surely all the negative feedback it has received has to end up with a complete redesign.

I also find the side buttons a complete pain in the ass, as I end up looking at the expose when I don't want to, and of course the trackball is annoying.

I wouldn't want to pollute my Apple with a PC looking mouse, I won't give in ever. Go Apple!

Hehe I know what you mean Nick, I'm not overjoyed that I've had to resort to a "PC looking" mouse either. But I can't deny how nice it is not having to worry about the scroll ball not working :) It says a lot when you can buy a mouse for £20 that works more reliably than something more expensive.

Trouble is the only "Apple looking" mice I could find were either pricey, part of a keyboard/mouse set or simply didn't have the functionality I wanted (wired, side buttons and horizontal scrolling).

If Apple do a redesign next year and produce a mouse that has nice aesthetics whilst still maintaining functionality (which is of course the most important) then I'll be on it like a shot :p

And hey, at least I didn't get a Microsoft one (even though they do produce some of the best mice) ;)
