The site/blog is powered by Symphony 1701, a web publishing system which promotes flexibility and code robustness. Slick administrative interfaces and a powerful templating system using XSLT are some of it's prominent features. It became free on September 22nd so there's no excuse not to give it a whirl. Styles
The current theme is brand new, and it represents the first theme I've really taken the time to add the finishing touches too (though it's still rough in some places). It's relatively simple looking as I feel some sites have a lot of "bells and whistles" that just clutter things up and make the site heavy and cumbersome to navigate through.
In the future I will be releasing themes used previously on this site and also many other symphony workspaces to help people new to the system get a site looking how they want and also to help them pick up on how to do things.

I've a passion for all things computers, web services/apps, movies, music... I've a varied array of interests so naturally this site covers a multitude of topics. Originally when I started out on my old Fatal-Ecstasy domain name, I was just having a bit of fun learning about HTML, CSS and also toying with different CMS's. After a month or so I decided I would start a blog and from there things have just progressed! Now the site, besides being outlet for me to write on, is also the home of my numerous wallpaper/graphic/theme releases and in recent months is starting to amass screencasts on Photoshop and more prolifically on Symphony.
Hosting
This site is hosted on a 256Mb Slice from Slicehost. I've only been with them for a few weeks but already I'm very happy with the setup that I've got going and the pricing is simply excellent!
